Xbox design labs controller damaged/broken

Got a custom controller for Christmas last year, gamer tag engraved on it and whatnot. Not even a year into use and my LB button wont work unless I angle the button and push it in harder than i used to have to. Sad to see it break
because my old controller (Which I've reverted to until i can get a replacement) Had put up with over 3 years of use and the only damage is a slightly sticky D-pad and worn out thumb pads. I'm not sure if the controller was poorly built or if it was a worse
material but I'm disappointed that a more expensive controller couldn't even last a whole year.

haven't received points for buying a controller on microsoft online store

I bought an xbox design lab controller last week. It's status is now shipped. I STILL haven't gotten my rewards points for making the purchase. Is this broken? it's not even 'pending'

I have the EXACT same issue, but my labs controller is even newer. It’s absolutely ridiculous that I can’t get a refund on a 4 month old controller.

The warranty for Design Lab controllers is 120 days (6 months). You can use this article (Xbox Design Lab and Xbox
Design Lab controller help) for any troubleshooting you need for your controller. If you do need servicing for your controller, you can set it up at https://support.microsoft.com/devices.

I take it you are trying to use the Xbox Design Lab? Try to contact support and say you're having trouble with the controller design lab. Or see if there is a support page/email/number on the controller design lab website.

If you continue to have issues with the DL controller I would suggest setting up a repair order if it's still under warranty.
