Xbox Design Lab Controller Doesn't work.

I recently designed and bought an Xbox Design Lab Controller off the Microsoft store. Upon receiving the controller I was very pleased with how the whole thing came out. However, when I started to try and play with the controller it would randomly disconnect
from my console about every 3 minutes. I have tried everything to fix this controller. Updating it, replacing batteries, hard reset on my console, moving closer, moving items, etc. I figured mistakes happen and so I went to try and contact Microsoft Support
about this issue. For the past week half of the website will not work, and the half that will only direct me to a virtual agent that doesn't help at all. I was finally able to put in a replacement order for the controller and thought it was all over. They
sent an email saying that further instructions would be emailed to me within 24 hours. Here I am days later still waiting for that email. There is no real person to talk to with Microsoft support, and frankly, the whole situation has put me going in circles
on their websites and it is annoying. I was wondering if anyone knows what I should try and do now? Am I just stuck with a cool looking broken controller?

The warranty for Design Lab controllers is 120 days (6 months). You can use this article (Xbox Design Lab and Xbox
Design Lab controller help) for any troubleshooting you need for your controller. If you do need servicing for your controller, you can set it up at https://support.microsoft.com/devices.

You would want to contact support to try to follow up. Go to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us and click no, thanks under the virtual assistant. You should be given other
options for contacting support that include chat or requesting a call back. If you don't see those options, change your topic.

I take it you are trying to use the Xbox Design Lab? Try to contact support and say you're having trouble with the controller design lab. Or see if there is a support page/email/number on the controller design lab website.

This worked for the standard controllers but does not work for the two design labs in question. The serial number from the design controllers says not recognized.
