    So I just bought Steep and then talked to xbox because it was mistake on my friends part they gave a whole load a excuses. Honestly such a big company really cant afford to refund just 40 dollars to a customer whohas now lost interest in xbox and I'm now
    probably leading to the PS4

    Declining proofs

    I do not want the proofs anyway like I said I've been deleting them after I set them up because my account will not sign in automatically. It is just a hassle I do not want to deal with and the only way is if I have the option to decline the proofs. I would
    not mind the proof system if they had a decline option to streamline my routine. At least when google wants me to link something with my account for extra security.(Don't even get me started on the "Microsoft Accounts" like I want one login to rule them all)

    Hey Jesse sorry to get back to you so late my refund has been declined because I've maxed out my refunds. I refunded the skins before but got declined for the same reason but were still taken away from my after they were declined

    the law and your card holders agreement does protect you against unauthorized purchases ask your card vendors what that means

    As mentioned above its not unauthorized you willinglu allowed your son to be without parental control and without adult supervision with your card which is ironically q violation of your card agreement.

    Therefor they are authorized

    You didn't take parental resoncibility

    Remember you are blaming an inanimate object

    It is on you regardless of console or system or online service to controlled your kids

    Ironically all the parental tools are there to use

    There is little reason for your son to be on your account as home console allows him access to all your games

    Declined Refund?!

    I believed that the law protected me from liability for unauthorised purchases, and am surprised how simple it is for a child to download material, and how can Microsoft verify that they're dealing with an adult?
    The law does protect you against unauthorized purchases. The only problem in this case is the purchase was not unauthorized. If you willingly let your son use your account and he made purchases during that time that wouldnt be considered an unauthorized
    purchase. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Anything done on your account by someone you let use your account is your responsibility.

    If your son is not an adult then he should be using his own child account which would give you control over whether purchases can be made or not. If that was done like it should have been done in the first place then you wouldnt be having this problem.

    If you have an adult account then thats how they would verify.As stated above in my previous point If your son is not an adult then he should be using his own child account.

    Refund declined

    I submitted a support request for a DLC that I accidentally purchased and it was declined. How do I reopen the case and get my refund?

    I purchased this item on the 31/12/20 and only last week found that I could refund it after seeing that it was on my purchase history the week before. The DLC is Shadowkeep for Destiny 2.
    All you can really do is try replying to the email saying the refund was denied and state your case as to why they should make an exception and see if they change their mind.
