    Well recently today I was playing Rainbow Six Siege and the enemy team was losing 2 and 0 and shortly after that the enemy team started DDoSing the game server causing the game to lag tremendously and so I went ahead and messaged the enemy team and one
    of them went ahead and said "We DDoS in ca for fun" which I went ahead and reported but how ever I did not get any message from XBL saying the whole thank you for making XBL safing for everyone like usual and I think this should be handled and support cant
    really do anything so I will hopefully wait to see if a enforcement

    do you even know what DDOS is?

    first of all if it was a DDOS attack then you should be complaining at your ISP since your service of internet was denied

    Microsoft cant do anything about that neither can Xbox support...

    go to your ISP file a complaint and make sure they start a investigation

    xbox cant do anything against DDOS attack neither do u have any proof of this so called DDOS attack

    ddos has nothing to do with Xbox live nor is it detectable by xbox

    Ddos goes though the internet not the Xbox live network

    You contact your isp for that kind of stuff

    A DDoS attack however happens over your Internet connection, Not Xbox Live which makes it hard for Xbox to determine who is responsible. The DDoS attack will come from hundreds if not thousands of slave devices so unless a user over Live tells you they
    are going to DDoS you, then it is tricky to determine who caused it.

    Is everything recorded in Xbox Live Parties?

    The problem is, since DDoS attacks (which is what is actually booting offline) don't originate from the Xbox Live service, Microsoft can't really do much.

    Instead, you need to contact your Internet Provider, who can start logging your connection, so they have evidence of the DDoS attack happening, and then press legal charges, as DDoS attacks are illegal.
