    Xbox day one patch


    So here in india the xbox one just got launched so i wanted to ask can i download the update as mentioned here down in the link on my friends pc and then install it... i have broadband at my place but its pretty slow and would take me about 5-6hours seeing
    as the update is more than 2gb so as soon as i receive my xbox i want to ready with update...Can it be done like this?

    You should download OSUDT1 and OSUDT2.

    Try starting your One without network attached. If it boots up correctly you can go on with OSUDT2.

    Only if it not boots up you need to use OSUDT1.

    You should choose the latest entry for OSUDT2, which is as of today "6.2.11507.0 (xb_rel_1409.140826-2037) fre" as otherwise you will direclty be promted again to downlaod the latest updates.

    Please be aware that the OSUDT is not intended to do this as its intended for troubleshooting. So it "should" work, but it is not guaranteed, that this is working.

    It is more recommended to have the update to be done online. Maybe at your frineds house if he has faster internet than you.

    Please be aware that the OSUDT is not intended to do this as its intended for troubleshooting. So it "should" work, but it is not guaranteed, that this is working.
