    Xbox Day one Hardware problems for the second time in a year and a half


    Starting off, I have a Day one edition and it has been a lemon ever since getting it. Initially, it had small disc reading problems and internet problems but I dealt with it. Eventually it stopped playing discs and the internet wifi wouldn't work at all.
    Device was sent in last November with a disc drive problem and hardware problem dealing with internet access. Since receiving the Xbox one back it has worked but still has some back and forth problems dealing with the wifi (seemed like the disc drive was
    corrected but not the internet problem). As of late the internet will not work at all dealing with the wifi and wired connection. The device throws an error message stating the device does have ehternet/wiresless hardware issues. I am not sure why this is
    but I shouldn't be dealing with this problem again after such a short amount of time of it being so called fixed (6 months). Would love to have this issue resolved and to continue to have a great relationship with the xbox community. I have owned an xbox
    for 8 years and dont want to be burned by this and switch to playstation.

    Outraged, AGAIN!

    I agree! this is at least the fourth time in the last about month and a half. I've also been a xbox live member since day one and never had this many problems with xbox live! xbox one epic fail!

    Xbox has been having weird problems

    Hello. My Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been having some weird problems. A couple of my problems are when I go into a new location in any game I will lag for a half a second, when my game saves or gives me hints in a game I will also lag for a half a second
    every time, and when I was playing world of tanks via the beta every time someone was spotted I would lag but my ping was stable. those are just a couple of my problems. I have tried a couple different consoles and different TVs and it still happens and my
    internet connection is perfect also I tried it while disconnected from Xbox live and it still happens. Thank you for reading and I hope to solve my problem.

    It took 8 years to get GWG on Xbox 360.

    Less than a year on Xbox one (with a smaller game library).

    More games were released on Xbox one in a year & half than Xbox 360 a year & half after launch....

    This thread must be joke of the day.

    Snoopy - Probably one of the most underrated games of all time. But it is still expensive, even if it is 6 years old this February. £30.70.

    Multiple Controllers Drifting

    I'm using my Xbox One S, it's around 5 or so years old.

    The IS build is 10.0.22621.2216.

    I first saw the drift while playing Overwatch, but it persists across all games, and the Xbox menus and keyboard can get hard to navigate since it's registering my right joystick at the same time. Before around a year and a half ago, I didn't have any problems with my controllers.

    I've purchased my controllers from a few places (Best Buy, Memory Express, Amazon)

    The drift moves my joystick quite quickly compared to normal drift, where it's not very noticeable (my screen will move up to the top in less than a second). It isn't a buildup of drift, it just suddenly appears one day when I play after around half a year. It becomes more and more common the following days until I have to buy a new controller.

    To be honest, the same thing can also happen to a PlayStation or any other WiFi hardware. I have an Xbox One and a One X and have no WiFi issues. The One X is a second hand console and when I bought it, it had also issues. I took it appart myself and cleaned
    it, after that it worked perfect every single day for more then a half year now.

    The old owner was smoking in the house and stuff so it can be a lot of things why you have this issue. If you have this issue since the beginning then you should go back for warranty, but if it happend over time, the same thing could happen to any other
    console.
