Xbox day One edition - Xbox Scorpio discount?

hello, ive had my xbox one since launch and have kept it in a relativly good condition , altho over the years both the console and my controller have started to slip. I know that after the 1S's launch if you traded in your xbox you could get it for close
to $50 and i was wonder if i would get this same deal with the Xbox scorpio since its release will be here in a short few month's?

I am going to be a product tester for the Xbox One X, had my Project Scorpio Edition on pre-order since the day it was announced

 

A little too early at this point. There could be delays in Scorpio release? Won't hear about any such deals (if they exist) until at least an official console release date.

 

I'm keeping my One. I'm giving it to me children.

 

As long as my 'Day 13' console holds out, I plan on possibly rotating. Wife plays on my launch (Day 13) console, I play on an XB1s (we game share). If we're still able to game share and all the online features work together for both, so that I can set the
S as my Home Console and play on the Scorpio while we game share, all I need is a trade in deal. Out with the launch console... in with the Scorpio... and a few years worth of extended warranty lol.

 

I'll be selling my Xbox 1 and using the money I get for it towards Xbox Scorpio. I'll keep the Kinect though. I have the Xbox 1 Day 1 Edition with Kinect. It's a limited edition and since the box that came with it is in mint condition, it will add value
to it. On trademe nz, people have easily sold their Xbox 1 Day 1 edition consoles for NZ$200. But you have to be NZ or Australian or something to participate on it without the worry of dealing with people on the other side of the world.

I don't think Microsoft will offer much for the trade. You may find it better to sell it yourself. It may help to sell it at least 8 weeks before Scorpio comes out. Otherwise when you try to sell it afterwards, people may think you're a cheap skate.

 

Also to add to my previous comment, if you have the Day 1 Edition, that will have more value, since the controller to that is *autographed by Microsoft!!!!!* aka "Day One 2013". Microsoft ordered the manufacturer (made in China or something?) to put that
on the controller. Since it's under the direction of Microsoft and official not something copied from Google Pictures and glued onto your controller, that adds more value.
