    Xbox Data Transfer


    Hello all. I will be moving to South Korea in just about two months and love my Xbox. I currently own and Xbox One S but understand it probably isn’t worth trying to find voltage transformers and such to bring my console with me and figured I’d buy a new one there. I am worried, however, about my in-game purchases and progression - especially on Rainbow 6 - not being there when I get this new console. I have the disc version of the game but I’m not sure that if I still sign into my account on a new Xbox, especially a foreign one, if all of my stuff will still be there. I know the disc shouldn’t be region locked but I still not sure if anything will stay on my account. Thank you for any guidance.

    Content transfer

    Something else to try is power the xbox off, remove the hard drive you're transferring the data from, connect the data transfer cable to the xbox and power on, once the xbox reaches the dashboard connect the hard drive you're transferring the data from to
    the data transfer cable.

    -

    If you are asked at all to configure the hard drive do not proceed any further, third party cables will wipe all the data and make the drives useless as xbox hard drives.

    1. The Data Transfer Kit will transfer content from Original Xbox 360 to Original Xbox 360, or from Original Xbox 360 to Xbox 360 S. :)

    2. The data is moved, not copied, so the content will not remain on the source drive.

    3. All data will be transferred.

    Like mentioned the transfer tool is a online functionality, and does not require the use of a disc drive.

    The transfer cable is not necessary for the license transfer, but it's a tool to transfer data from one consoles hard drive to another:
