this is unbelievable why in the world is there no option to mute the sound output of the dashboard not only is it an obtrusive sound moving around the dashboard but it so annoying every single other device has included this ability android turn off keyboard
key clicks playstation turn off system sounds etc etc on and on its such an oversight on the devlopers part i just cant imagine how this is not available this is not new software there have been a meny revisions do is there just a lack of care because when
i searched this topic it seemed there were quite a few topics on this with no response solution imagine trying to sleep when somebody is in the other room scrolling around the dashboard for 20 minutes you'd want to bang your head off the wall unbearable even
at night when im puttin around swish swish swish swish swish swish like omg fix this

Hi Taylorkev,

Sorry you're having problems with your games loading. When you say 98% and 100%, is that installing the game, or trying to run it? It sounds like you're trying to install, but I just want to clarify. None the less here are some steps that may resolve either
of the issues (and it sounds like you've covered a lot of them).

1.Try to remove your profile and re-add it. Remove Profile Add

2. Try to create a new profile, and see if the games load on that. See this link (do all the steps up to "add to family" in the "The person you want to add does not have an Xbox Live profile .........

3. How is your cell connection? Can you make your phone a hot spot? Depending on your phone data restrictions, and if you can make your phone a hot spot, you can connect the Xbox to your phone hot spot and install the game.
Caution : This may use a large amount of data. This will tell you if it's something with your internet that is causing the game to fail. If that is just not an option, then go to next step.

4. Factory reset console. You can try this if the above does not work.

As the message implies, it sounds like you registered for the Preview under a different account. Try signing in with a different Xbox Live account and access the app from there. Let us know how it goes.

No thanks.Why do we need a dashboard from 9 years ago?

Not played on a 360 for ages but the dash was fine but a bit slow & the current xbox one dash is fine as it is.

I use my console to play games or use apps,not to sit there playing with the dash anyway.

Because the majority of Xbox 360 users loved that dashboard. Microsoft can redesign the dashboard, with all the features we have today. The only difference would be the layout and the sound effects. Actually, what they do is up to them

It sounds like you downloaded your gamertag/profile onto a console that was running the beta update. That essentially "applied" the beta to your gamertag but not the console you're using. If this is the case, you can purchase the content on the xbox that
has the beta and then go back to the non-beta console and download the content through your download history. If you don't want to do that, then yes, you'll have to wait until the update is released to the public. That could be anywhere from next week to November.
No one knows but the beta team.

That sounds super frustrating.

If you're having your game crash back to the dashboard again and again after trying to launch certain games (or any game) a good course of action is to go ahead and try the troubleshooting steps here on our site entitled “My
Xbox One game won’t start or freezes during gameplay”. It should help if your game quits randomly like that or doesn't even launch.

Give the steps outlined in that article a try and let us know how that helped in resolution of your issue.
