    Xbox dashboard not responding


    So just this morning i was trying to play my xbox one console, like normal stsrted it up connected my controller but whn i tried to open up a game, the game icon would move like it registered i clicked on it but nothing opened, so i basically spammed the A button and it eventually opened, but once i was in the game the controller responded perfectly fine, and it did it with every game on my home screen. So i pressed the xbox button on my controller because i thought maybe my controller needs an update or something but when i open the tabs and try to scroll using RB or LB it’ll go one over but instantly go back to the main tab. So i tried switching to a new controller and it didn’t fix anything. Yes i’ve tried turning it off and on again. Please help if you can Xbox dashboard not responding :)

    Hey, yes, took the powercable away this morning went to work and plugged it in again.

    Latest Firmware is installed. There is no newer version available to download.

    Hey Blitzernnn, thanks for answering.

    Yes this is helping, but only exactly one time which is the next start after the procedure. When I shut down to light sleep afterwards I have the same problem again after starting.

    Hi MihaelGHM,

    Welcome to the forums!

    Can you please this for me, turn off the xbox and take the power cable out from the back and the wall. Wait for 5 mintues. Then plug it all back in and see how that works?
