    Xbox Dashboard/Loading Error


    My Xbox has had an issue for awhile now. I brought my Xbox home over my spring break, and it worked great. Right when I brought my Xbox back up to school, it had an issue. The problem seems similar to this "Green screen of death" issue. However, I can get
    passed the green loading screen, but then my dashboard takes forever to load and eventually freezes. The error code that pops up relates to application start up, but my controller also freezes, like I can't click on anything or move the cursor around. When
    I turn the Xbox off, the light blinks on and off for awhile, until I plug the power cord. I have tried things such as unplugging all the cords, trying different outlets, and doing a hard reset. I am afraid of doing a hard reset because most of my games were
    purchased online. Also, I can't go into settings to logout or save anything because my control is frozen too when the dashboard is loading. I am not sure what to do, and I don't want to have to send my Xbox in unless if it is the last option possible.

    everything is been crap today. Was trying to stream the daily to see the new xbox dashboard but keep getting error.

    What exactly does clearing the system cache do?

    Clearing your cache can help with internal errors such as:

    May 2011 XBOX Live Update Destroyed my Firmware!

    I'm also getting an E66 Error message. It downloads the Update then reads Error E66, but I can restart the xbox and it loads back to dashboard and prompts to download it again.
