    Xbox dashboard/account problem


    Hello, I am seeking help with a problem that seems to be linked to my xbox account. Whenever I play any game it plays fine for a while then I get stuttering in game and the only way to stop it is to press the Home button and go to the dashboard then I notice the advertisement tiles are blank then they load back in after 2-3 seconds and the game plays fine again but it will do this when I play every 10 to 15 minutes and as you can imagine it's extremely frustrating. It happened when using my old xbox one X and now still happening on my new Xbox series X. I have changed my Internet provider thinking that was the issue, the internet I use runs perfectly so no issue there and I get 600mbps speeds. I have hard reseted my xbox numerous times, even factory reseted it. I have tried ethernet and Wifi and even bought a brand new ethernet cable thinking the cable maybe faulty but still the problem persists. I have troubleshooted every single possible thing that could be causing this from my end and it is still happening and has for the last 6 months which is why I think it must be a problem linked to my actual xbox account so I am desperately reaching out to you at Xbox to see if you can help me because to be honest I feel like getting rid of everything because it is making my gaming an un-enjoyable experience, please can you help me, thanks, Adam.

    I am very sorry to know you are having such conveniences. Please do not worry about the situation because I am here to help you out!

    According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

    The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

    You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

    1- Go to settings on your Xbox

    2- Select system

    3-Select storage

    4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

    Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

    If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    Do you have a gold subscription on that account? Some features do not turn up if you do not have xbox live gold subscription on that account

    Do you mind giving us some more information? Did you recently make your Xbox Live account? If so, did you make a new account or did you try to make an account with the profile without live currently?

    Hello mate so this a really easy fix. So all you need to do is go onto your Xbox 360 and go to the Dashboard than all the way to the right under the settings tab on the dashboard there it says Account click on that. There you will see Account Security click
    that. Than click Change Microsoft Account.

    So (Dashboard-Account-Account Security-Change Microsoft Account. And then enter the new email address you wish to use for your GamerTag.

    The preview program may have something to do with it but I'm not sure. Try using a different Xbox account (gold or not) and see if it changes. (My silver account floods my dashboard with gold advertisements when I login to it). My dashboard never changes
