Xbox dash beta user

So ever since the new summer update installed on my Xbox 1 I can no longer use the Xbox turn off then YES command. It will not shut off like it did prior. A few manual reboots and the resetting steps but same. Immediately after saying "Xbox turn off"
the stop listening option pops right up in the top right and if you say yes or no to the power off command nothing works. I'm either forced to use the controller or press the Xbox button on console.

Anyone else who is in the beta dashboard experiencing this?

Different chat codecs. Just like that time when the xbox 360 had a beta dash anyone with the beta dash couldnt chat to friends without it

My Xbox has the beta dash problem. I was told on here that I could make purchases on the Xbox I put my account on which had the beta dash which messed up my personal Xbox. I got on the other console to change my gamer tag that had the beta dash. Now I
can't sign in on my own all of a sudden. Something's defiantly going on. Help?

may resolve your issue as well.

That's because the command changed. It's now something like "Cortana, turn off my Xbox" try verifying the correct command but 100% sure the command has been changed.

 

"Hey Cortana turn off" works. I haven't tried "hey Cortana turn off the Xbox" yet.

 

Cortina does not work in Canada yet. So no command via voice turns the unit off. Xbox on still works but it will no longer shuts the box down. Have to use controller or power on unit. Defeats the voice command and the kinesthetic not 100% working.
Microsoft please get Canada in the region for Cortana sooner than later.
