  1. Xbox Customer Support SHOCKINGLY Bad - Hung Up On Me Six Times!


    Xbox customer support hung up on me six times over the past two days. I was polite the entire time, and it seemed obvious from their tone that the Xbox customer service reps were completely disinterested in helping.

    Sadly, from what I've read on various forums my experience is not uncommon.

    Also, I can find no address in which to send a letter to lodge a complaint. Anyone have the Microsoft customer service address?

    Did you download the Dolby Access app? While you only need to pay for use with headphones, you may be able to set up Atmos for home theaters with the app.

    The app has a free trial, so it’s no risk to see if that’s your issue. It’s also frequently on sale. Give it a shot and cross your fingers
    I have never paid for Dolby Atmos. The fee is only for Atmos for Headphones. I use Atmos all the time.

    Thank you SwordofWhedon, I did not purchase the app, I was understanding that you only needed to purchase it for headphones...

    When I change the bitstream out to dolby atmos for home theatre or the dts-x, I lose all the sound but if I am on the option just before it(I forget specifically what is), it all works.

    The dolby atmos works on the bell fibe box connected to the denon reciever.

    The problem seems to be simply at the xbox level.

    Have tried different inputs on the receiver and different cords for the xbox but from what tech support the cord that came with my X should be ok.

    I have the video going to an optoma uhd60 from the reciever.

    Appreciate any insite.

    I also read in the forums that there was a pilot program that came out for the S's that gave you beta testing of different atmos formats that might have worked but, that is time-consuming thing as you needed to level up inside of the beta testing thing to gain access - not even sure if it was real.
