Xbox custom gamer picture

Yesterday when I went on my xbox app to change profile picture it worked as normal to where when I choose the custom image I wanted it said success and showed the image at the screen before saving it as the image for your xbox account but when I clicked
refresh it normally changes to my chosen image but it didn’t this time so I signed out, back in and deleted the app when I signed out even restarting my phone but the image still didn’t show, I’m wondering how I fix it so I can see the image I want as my new
xbox profile picture (it is an anime girl standing infront of a Union Jack). Does anyone know how to make it so I can see the image because it doesn’t show me custom images when I change only xbox provided images.
