Xbox currency Error?

I put a 25 dollar card on my account this morning and bought the game Salt and Sanctuary, which was 19.99. I then looked up black desert online just to see how much money I had left(I had 31 something on my account). It still said 31 something on my account.
I thought wow that's weird, maybe the purchase was still pending. I clicked buy on Black desert (9.99) to see if I maybe had enough in my account and it bought it. I figured it up and realized I should not have had enough. I clicked on another game (a cheap
4 dollar something racing game) game it STILL said I had 31 something dollars on my account. Though when I clicked on something like Neir Automata, it said I only had .46 cents in my account.

What's going on? I should'nt have been able to get Black Desert right? Why is my total messed up?

Just make sure that you select account balance when wanting to use your account balance in the future.

You might have purchased a Different edition of black desert. Please remember to check your payments on the mircosoft purchase page to double check and if the maths still don't add up from there please contact xbox support on this link and how to get in
touch with an agent is the following directions

Are you sure were picking the account balance as your payment option and not a credit/debit card?

You can look at your order history at account.microsoft.com and it will tell you what payment option was being used to purchase those items.
