Xbox credit not working

Yesterday, i purchased 1,000 v-bucks for my daughter,i transferred 15$ of credit over to her account so she could purchase the v-bucks,but when she tried to purchase the v-bucks it would not let her !.When she goes to purchase the v-bucks it ask's for
a payment method,and it dosent let her use the money i transferred over to her account,my account is set up as a parent account.

I would also make sure that her account isn't set up as a child account with purchases blocked. This could be enabled, blocking her from purchasing anything using the credit.

After making sure the account in question can make purchases and the region set is the same as the currency used, for billing and purchasing issues you should contact xbox support.

Hey there, Tyler42787! I'm sorry to see that you keep getting messages about expiring credit. If you have already spent it, then you can dismiss those messages. Since 2/2 is this coming Monday, you should not receive any more of these messages.

The WoT code should not expire. Once you have access to your account again, please try the website to redeem it on. We are unable to redeem that for you as it needs to go through that site. If you are still having issues once your account is accessible on
that site, please do post back so that we may help you further.

as long as it is a credit card it should work if you get a error code just go to xbox live to add the credit card
