Xbox Credit and lack of flexibility.

Hi, still have line of credit on my Xbox account, eagerly awaiting last batch of backward compatible games.

However, went to purchase and unable to use Xbox credit balance.

Only a pay-pal option.

Very frustrating and for a billion dollar company with no flexibility to use my Xbox vouchers given as a gift (now redeemed...sitting as a balance) and not being able to buy a game.

I had on older console which I replaced which I thought would be an upgrade, not a white elephant...Unable to buy the games with the credit waiting too be spent.

Please resolve & dispose the red tape tying your hands of a simple process.

Disappointed

Just wanted to share how unhappy I was with the lack of flexibility when trying to use my money on my Microsoft account to purchase a gold membership. This really opens my eyes and helps on my deciding with the new consoles coming out

can"t purches xbox live

If your credit cards aren't working and you want to get a Gold subscription right away, you can always purchase prepaid Xbox LIVE cards of varying durations at retail stores like Target. That might give you more flexibility when it comes to paying.

This is a side effect of the way the Xbox 360 store works that unfortunately means you cannot use your account balance to complete a backwards compatible version of a game on your Xbox One.

I'm sure Microsoft would love to able to allow you use your account credit to purchase games like this on your console, If you still have access to an Xbox 360 console you can use this to complete a purchase using account credit and if it's a backwards compatible
game you should then be able to download it on your Xbox One.

Wow that sounds like a horrible experience for all !! I hope you can resolve your issue ASAP.

These on-line platforms, account management functionality work well for "plain vanilla" transactions and/or enquiries but when there is slight divergence the "how to guidance virtual support", lack of flexibility in approach and inability to speak to a human not a robot just makes the interaction appalling.

I am left with no option for a resolution except to call my bank and cancel my credit card, then deal with the admin that comes with that.
