    Xbox Crazy??


    Well my Xbox is crazy or so I think so. It's almost 2 years old now and its on the fritz. For starters it was intermittently giving my HDMI no signal issues, and a cold reset used to work along with a wiggle of the first HDMI cord. 6 HDMI cords later and
    that no longer works. Also it cuts on by itself in some kinda safe mode I'm thinking it is. I say safe mode because when it cuts on by itself, it's unresponsive, the touch buttkns beep with no action and the controller wont sync. I've tried everything that
    I can think of and what comes up on a search via Google and Bing. I haven't thrown it against the wall yet but it's seriously frustrating and I cannot get this thing to act right. Any help is accepted

    Sorry to hear it. Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

    It is also possible that wiggling the HDMI cable may have loosened the HDMI port itself making a bad connection. If this is the case and power cycling the console doesn't work you may need to send the console in for a repair.

    When performing a power cycle be sure to press and hold the power button on the console for at least 10 seconds until you hear the console powering down, when powering down the light on the power supply may switch between white and orange, as soon as the
    light on the power supply remains orange wait at least 30 seconds before powering the console on again.

    Let us know if this helped anything.

    I've held the power button for 10 seconds and waiting until the light goes to solid orange waiting 5 minutes and tried to restart it and nothing happens. It'll be all out of pocket if I send it in. Not sure if it's more cost effective to just cut my losses
    but I'm not Daddy Warbucks lol

    Your not alone, this is happening to a lot of people. It's not just bear xboxes either, because both of mine are doing the same thing. Hoping the patch and send out a new update.

    yeah the support guy told me to go to connect . Microsoft. but that is no help. i think at this point i am just S.O.L. which is crap. cause my machine was working fine til this update. now because of that i am screwed. my xbox did not break or fail. i was
    given bad code from Microsoft. so now i gotta pay to fix or replace it. does that seem fair to anybody.
