    Xbox crashing


    Recently, my Xbox one has been crashing and quits working. I'm not sure what caused it but it was fine until a few weeks ago. What happens is that it will randomly just stop working, not because anything in particular like a specific game or app, it will
    just stop. At first a hard reset will fix it, but eventually the crashes get closer and closer together to the point where it will turn on but will just be a frozen dashboard or itll just stay at the green startup screen. I did a factory reset and it worked
    fine for a few days but it has done the same thing. If there is anything I can do short of buying a new console please let me know.

    Xbox keeps crashing when playing Fortnite

    Hi,

    My XBox OneS keeps crashing when playing Fortnite. Also crashing when I play Sims4 and Overwatch, but not as often.

    Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    Backwards Compatibility Wish List

    These two games on Xbox 360 are worth a good amount of money but they're nowhere near as good as the original Crash Bandicoot games (the last true Crash Bandicoot was Twinsanity).

    Nba2k20 still crashing?

    Same issue.

    Xbox one X crashes only on NBA2K20 (Game pass). Can play other games hours and hours but NBA2K20 crashes randomly, or if I try to play NBA2K20 street mode it immediately crashes (every time).

    Once restarted an error code stating overheating is presented on the screen, however, the Xbox is not hot. This also happens after an overnight with the Xbox unplugged, and in the morning trying to get into the street mode: it crashes immediately with the
    same error code (no way the Xbox could get heated that fast to crash the machine 2-3 minutes after the first, morning restart).

    The XBOX One system update today also didn't resolve the BF4 crashes, but no surprise there, as BF4 crashes on every platform.
