Xbox crashing/shutting down only in destiny 2

hello so im reaching out today with a big concern.

so prior to the witch queen release while iron banner was going on i was playing a match and once i died the xbox would completely shut off. i would turn it back

it back on and it would say that that its over heating. i have cleaned out the unit and felt it and its cool to the touch. so it left me lost on what the issue could be.

Once the witch queen got released the problem seemed to stop till i would die and get the fading like screen. the load icon would pop up then the whole system

would just crash and give me the same over heating info. i have gone and tried other games such as cod and halo and the issue doesn't happen. im not sure if its

on bungies side of things or my system isnt working correctly.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

We will be performing troubleshooting steps in that way we can check if it's an issue with your console or on the game side.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't try to uninstall and reinstall the game to delete any corrupted file that may be causing the issue.

If you have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the issue persists, resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the last resort. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I only play Destiny 2 pretty much right now but it also does it on the menu screen when I leave Destiny to shut down my Xbox

I'm still dealing with it. No one has ever given me a fix for it. The problem has only gotten worse as it will shut down during other games like Destiny 2. It seems to me it happens during moments with a lot of movement and the xbox thinks it can't handle
it So it shuts down. In darksiders it was a cutscene with a lot of falling rubble, Battlefront a fast spinning object and destiny with a lot of explosions and enemies on screen. I sure hope they are trying to find a fix.

Crash course 2 also got shut down and that was such a great game for me.I spent a lot of money on arcade games and would buy a lot more but now im not sure anymore with games and servers being shut down lately.
