    Xbox Crashing or turning off completely during Call of Duty: Cold War.


    I bought the right version of the game (I play on a One S). For whatever reason, my Xbox will either crash or completely turn off whenever I play on Armada. Every other map and game works just fine. I don’t even get frame drops on other maps/games. Is anyone else having this issue or know what could be causing this?

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    Why is Cod Black ops Cold War telling me to buy the game again?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

    Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    After that, go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 4
