Xbox crashing after 5 minutes of playing

Hi,

I have an Xbox 360 Slim. It has always work fine until a couple of weeks ago when I got GTA 5 and started crashing, it has got to a point in which it crashes after about 5 minutes playing any game. No error messages, just freezes and you have to restart
the console.

I have tried clearing the cache on both hard drives, and even wiping them both and nothing.

Any ideas about what this could be and how can it be solved? Or should I just bury it in the backyard and mourn it?

Xbox APP: Everytime I click on settings on the app crashes, also getting blocked settings party chat

My app keeps crashing when I click on the settings tab on the app.

Also get kicked out of party chat after 5 -10 minutes.

Yea, this sucks so hard.

Diddnt they tested one of these game ? In fact the games arent crashing after 7 hours playing... theyre crashing every 30 minutes.... all of them... FIFA, NBA, BF, COD.

I wish someone can tell us the true reason of this "Bug"..

No red rings on the console when freezing ?

 

No, nothing, it just freezes and sometimes the controller just keeps vibrating and the sound gets stuck until I restart the Xbox.

 

Try playing without the hard drive installed to see if the console still experiences the same issue. If it plays fine then you may need to get a new hard drive.
