    Xbox controlller 'A' button stopped working


    So today I got back from school and decided I would play a little bit on my xbox. Everything was fine until I turned my controller on. Every button on my controller was working except the 'A' button. Yesterday my controller was working fine but now the
    button does not do anything not even when I keep pressing the button. I have tried searching on the internet for solutions but none of them work (I have tried blowing into the button, turning on and off the controller, and resetting my xbox). I cannot desync
    my controller since I don't have a sync button on my xbox(I don't know why) and the usb port on my controller does not work(It hasn't worked since like a year ago). I hope someone here can help me fix my problem.

    Short answer is bud we here on Xbox Forums cannot condone opening the controller up since this would void any and all warranties. We do however believe that in this matter the best course of action would be to
    Request a Callbackfrom
    one of our Xbox Support Specialists since they are the best equipped, tool wise, to look into warranty information. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes

    Hi Javier, thanks for your response. I got redirected to a warranty checking page, but the code on my controller has been erased(I guess it's because of use). What proceeds now? Is there a way to dismantle my controller to manually fix it?
