Xbox controllers seem to be made very poorly.

So okay let me start by saying I'm not crying about this but this is my experience and I hope it changes in the future with new consoles and new products.

I have always been a big Microsoft guy ever since I was young. I'm an adult now and an avid gamer. I have owned the original Xbox and multiple 360s. I have had 2 Xbox One consoles and recently like in the last 10 months have upgraded to the new Xbox One
X. In the last year I have purchased 8 replacement controllers. 2 of them the bumpers fell off or out of place 3 had stick issues, and 3 had headphone jack issues where no audio was coming out. I use the headphone jack to plug in headphones because we have
a very sick family member in the house and we cant be having the volume on most of the time as he is sleeping. Now when I was younger like in High School and stuff things happened. I once had a party and all 4 of my controllers for the original Xbox were stolen.
My cousins dog chewed the cord of one of my wired 360 controllers so this is life stuff happening and when that stuff happened, I replaced the controllers...what else am I to do. The fact is now I am an adult. No little kids are playing with and or dropping
my controllers. Nothing is getting spilled on them. Friends aren't raging and throwing them I really take care of my electronic devices now and I am just so surprised that as a gamer and during normal use....These things fail like that is what they were designed
to do. I play Fifa and NHL and Madden and during theses sessions idk if its that I'm being more excited with the controller or moving them around more but it leads to them just breaking without me mistreating them. I am tired of this. Why cant Microsoft make
something a little more sturdy. I also had Sonys consoles and Nintendo consoles and I have never had a controller fail...Well the Wii that was a different story. My girlfriend threw one threw my TV on accident once but that was totally an accident. At $60
a piece I mean its not gonna last forever but it should not have plastic pieces rattling around inside of them. My guy shouldn't stop moving when the stick breaks because the stick shouldn't break in the first place. The fact that after spending so many thousands
of dollars I cant get Microsoft to replace one of these on the house is also just ridiculous. I can pay to have it sent to them and if its out of warranty pay for it to be fixed...Come on guys do a customer a solid and just take care of this issue in the future.
It cannot be that hard. I know I am not the only one who has had these issues. Ok its off my chest. I'm feeling better now. Good luck in the future Microsoft I hope you put a little more time into R and D on your controllers. They need to be a bit stronger.
