    Xbox controllers randomly disconnecting


    So this problem is getting progressively worse. Both of my Xbox controllers will randomly disconnect while I’m playing and sometimes they don’t reconnect to the Xbox, making online games almost impossible because it happens so randomly but it happens every time I play. I’ve made sure to use brand new batteries, I’ve reset the xbox, the wifi router and the controllers, I’ve even tried updating the console and controllers but nothing seems to help. A friend recently asked how old the console was and I told them I bought it from someone brand new in 2017, they said it could just be getting old but I’m not sure if that’s the reason. All I know is the issue HAS to be with the console right? Any suggestions?

    your controller shouldn't just disconnect randomly, try plugging the usb into your xbox and into your controller and try updating the controller.

    I got 2 of the xsx controllers.. they used to disconnect randomly on the xsx.. but it seems like its fixed now. on win10 some games are basically unplayable.. randomly flashes and disconnects.. the older xbox one controllers have no problems at all. does microsoft know of this problem.. it should be pretty widespread.

    The controller randomly disconnects and nearly immediately disconnects again once the controller has been turned back on. I’ve put new batteries in, I’ve re paired the controller to the system, I’ve unplugged the Xbox entirely to try and fix this.
