    Xbox Controllers making noise


    This doesn't really hinder how the controllers work or anything in anyway, I just wanted to know why there always has been a very hard to notice hum coming from all Xbox controllers? It's been prevalent since the Day 1 models of Xbox One, and I also wanted to know why have I not seen anyone talk about it ever. It's also prevalent in the Series Controllers too and gets more noticeable with age.

    I'm talking about the electrical buzzing noise when you put your ear right next to the xbox logo on the controller. I have vibration turned off by the way and I'm still hearing it.

    I can't hear anything like that with any of my controllers. Possibly you have a faulty controller.

    so the weird noises the other players notice is the controller on vibration, which causes the headset to make noises. Turn off the vibration to controller and they shouldn't hear it anymore. you should notice it when you are getting shot at or jumping.

    I also tested if it was my usb ports that result in the noise but when I hooked up the controller it didn’t make the noise I think it’s just the hdd that’s causing the issue.
