    Xbox Controllers Joy Sticks OVER Accelerate


    My XBOX One X has recently (maybe a month or so ago) started having the joysticks over accelerate greatly. I push it a little, and it goes fast, I push it a lot and it is light speed.

    I have tried 3 different controllers (2 brand new) and still happens. Tried the controllers on the other Xbox and they work fine.

    Reset the XBox to default settings and still happening...

    Is my xbox just shot? (that's what the teenagers are telling me...)

    All controllers have also been plugged in and updated to latest version of firmware.

    Any thoughts/help?

    Have you tried Airduster to remove any particles from the controller over timing dust can get stuck between the joy stick.

    You need to change the settings for the controller , there should be a section under configure controller that allows to change the dead spaces on the joy sticks make sure that they are turned down and centered also when you turn on the xbox try from the
    console itself and dont touch the controller. Take tha battries out , put new ones in. And then resnyc the controller to the xbox , do not touch the joy sticks when you do this

    if its with the joy stick it maybe stick shift which happens with old controllers,if it gets reallly bad i recomend getting a new controller

    Elite controller stick drift

    The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
    drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem
