Dear Microsoft and the X Box community,

I have been a PlayStation gamer since 2007, and just this month, went out and bought myself a shiny new Xbox One X console, both to be able to play Xbox Exclusive games and for the obvious power benefits of the new console. Just yesterday, I went and bought
a new game for my new console, being the new Tomb Raider game, along with the Elite Gaming Controller, and I am absolutely in disbelief at my inability to figure out how to hold that
[Mod Removed] CONTROLLER...!!!

Never in 10 years of PlayStation gaming did I ever once find its controller to be unusable or awkward in any way. NOT ONCE. And in the 5 or so hours I've been trying to play Tomb Raider, all I can do is marvel at the stupidity of the design of your Xbox
Controller.

I had, until today, fully intended to buy the upcoming Fallout 76 game for my new Xbox and not my old PlayStation. I easily have over a 1000 hours of Fallout 4 on my PlayStation, and fully expected to do the same time on the new Fallout on my new Xbox One
X.

Instead, as of an hour ago, I have resolved to sell all my Xbox stuff, the console ($650), the Elite gaming controller ($200), and the Tomb Raider game ($100) to some friend or friend of friend stupid enough to be an Xbox gamer, and whom I can only assume
has only ever known Xbox controllers and is completely ignorant to the "ergonomic perfection of PlayStation controllers".

I'd sell it all for a pittance, just to never again have to try to figure out how to hold that stupid f'ing Xbox controller, or wonder how one of the biggest companies on the planet hasn't managed to re-design such an obviously flawed piece of equipment.

So, [Mod Removed] Xbox, and [Mod Removed] Microsoft. I have no idea why anyone in the Gaming community tolerates your product, and you haven't seen a mass exodus across to PlayStation.

Quality issues with xbox one controller left analog stick

Just googled the grey clip problem and found this thread. I'm on my 4th controller since I bought the Xbox One around Thanksgiving 2014. Completely ridiculous that Microsoft continues to sell these awful, awful controllers.

This is it for me. I went with the Xbox because of Halo. Always been a Halo kind of guy and wanted the Master Chief Collection. The controllers have made the Xbox One unusable and completely irrelevant as a gaming system. It's turned into a vessel to watch
Netflix. Worst gaming system ever. Truly a disgrace to their brand. I'll be going with Sony the next time around.

$60 for a controller that lasts about a month and then breaks. Unreal and pathetic.

 

Battery packs

Hi teno1878, the controllers are a completely new design on the Xbox One and your rechargeable pack won't fit on the new controllers. The packs/battery compartment on the Xbox One controllers are flush with the controller and don't pop out. Also shaped horizontally.

 

You must be ignorant to make such a statement but ok go on and play with your thumbs downwards and with a tiny controller... First of if you made a little research that wont be happening at all to you ...Xbox Elite Conteoller as it implies requieres you
to be used to an xbox controller and not just like you did buy from scratch to be cool it requieres you to be used to playing games with a regular controller first... you can say a Ferrari is a piece of crap because it is more complicated to drive than your
Toyota... you should have learned and habe the feeling for the regular controller before jumping to the big leagues and besides that the controller elite is more for tournaments and stuff that requieres extra button configurations Shadow of the Tomb Raider
is not a game that need the elite controller...free tip...next time make some research and dont make yourself look like a fool and a noob in gaming...

 

i dont understand what you hope to accomplish with this post, if you wanna play xbox play xbox if you wanna play playstation play playstation...

 

You sound like such a crybaby. Manchild. I've played the playstation and xbox for years. I own a ps4 and xbox one and still own a 360 and ps3. In my opinion the Xbox controller is more comfortable to hold. The playstation controller still feels awkward
after playing on it for 10+ years. You've probably just been used to the ps controller for too long. Honestly the only difference is the smaller size the joystick position and slight different size in the triggers and bumpers. So cringy reading that. I understand
that you're upset and you spent a lot of money but it's a controller. Grow up PlaystationTard. To say the stuff u said about Microsoft and xbox all because your used to a certain controller? Stupid. At the end of the day all this is based on is how comfortable
you feel holding a controller. It's opinion. None is inferior. The ps or xbox controller are equal it just comes down to opinion and what feels more comfortable to you. They're making controllers for the ps4 that are like xbox controllers so honestly I might
be a playstation main now. Again please grow up. Bye.

Im sorry that xbox and its controller arent for you. Not everyone fits with all controllers. I know some that cant handle a PlayStation controller due to its smaller size. But I'm truly sorry you didn't enjoy your xbox experience.

 

I wish your experience could've been better. But at least now you know exactly what floats your boat.

 

There are adapters that let you connect a PS4 controller to the Xbox One and many third party peripheral manufacturers that make Xbox controllers shaped like the PS4.

An easier method though would to just connect your PS4 controller to your PC and play the Microsoft exclusives there.

 

We have a PS4 in the house (my youngest son’s). He finds the PS4 controllers comfortable, but he’s nine and has small hands. I can’t use them.

I vastly prefer the Xbox One controller style. I wasn’t very fond of the Elite controller, but I find that the Razer Wildcat for Xbox One is the perfect controller for me.
