Xbox controller

Ok so I dont know whats going on with my Xbox One X in the living room but the controller keeps disconnecting from it. Even if plugged in with usb cable xbox button just keeps flashing. I try to connect to another Xbox One in my room and it works fine.
But when I plugged into Xbox One X (living room) it still turns on amd connects to my Xbox One in my room amd does everything it normally does on the xbox in my room.

Are you still having issues getting that set up?

Is the controller an Xbox One controller or an Xbox 360 controller, and have you followed the

Xbox One PC controller guide, or the
Xbox 360 controller guide?

I did finally get it to work right took a few power cycles, but I did see the video from from the live chat. Appreciate the help though
