    Hello,

    So some time ago i wanted to play with my xbox controller but it only blinked slowly 2 times and then faded off and wont turn on again. I have this controller for about 4-5 years when i got it with my xbox. I do have another not much used xbox controller that works and i play with now, but im scared the same thing is going to happen to that controller. Please help!!

    When you say your controller wont connect do you mean the controller wont turn on or do you mean the controller does turn on but it is just not connected

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    Im actually still having this issue on my xbox elite. After a period in idle (usually 24hrs) my controller and xbox IR remote wont turn on the console. I have to turn it on at the console. Once turned on my remote and controller may work in menus and other

    I'm sorry to hear about your controller issues.

    Go ahead and perform a hard reset and
    power cycle     of your console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

    Power on and synch yopur controller and

    Let us know if that resolves your controller issue.
