Xbox controller won’t turn on

my Xbox controller won’t switch on. I have replaced the battery and nothing!! It’s only 4 months old. Any ideas?

Xbox One on but won’t do anything

My Xbox One will power on, with the white power light on, but it won’t do anything. The tv doesn’t detect an input source. I’ve checked the tv and the hdmi cable, and they both work. Also, the controller won’t connect to the Xbox. I can turn the Xbox on
with the controller, but the controller won’t connect and flashes the middle button light. The Xbox will eject and take cds, and I can hear the cd rom spinning when I put a disc in, but the Xbox won’t do anything else, and the controller still won’t connect. I
also can’t turn the Xbox off, unless I hold the power button for 5 seconds. When I press the the button, the sound plays for the Xbox’s turning off, but it stays on.

Xbox controller won’t turn back on?

So I knew I had an update due for my Xbox and comtroller(it’s a two paddle scuff). I updated the Xbox then plugged in my controller. It tried to start the update but then the controller shut off. I’ve tried multiple sets of batteries. Rechargeable and nonrechargable.
I can’t seem to get it to turn back on. Help please

Have you dropped it recently if you did mabye some parts inside the controller got destroyed.

I had similar frustration so I bought rechargeable batteries and a wall plug charger, this saves a lot of money on batteries - Are your batteries hot or leaking - did you try a fresh set to eliminate the chance of bad batteries?

Perhaps the abtteries dont work for example they are old rechargeable

Are you 100% confident the batteries are fine ?

You say you have more than one external HDD plugged and one mic which uses 3 USB ports.

Wouldn't it be possible for you to disconnect one HDD that you are not using and plug the controller instead ? Because if you are gaming and the game is on one HDD, maybe the second can momentarily be unplugged without causing much trouble ?

Also, is it an option for you to use a usb Hub on the front USB port to give you multiple ports from that one so you can plug your controller + the mic ?
