    Xbox Controller Wont Turn On Xbox


    Hello, so this literally just started happening, and Ive had the console for 3ish years, I also cannot just turn on the xbox through the power button, as I changed the hard drive to a ssd, and after opening everything sufficiently with nothing breaking,
    I put everything back together and tried to close it, and some of the pins just wouldnt close, and I cant even try to waver my finger over the power button as its just stopped working after I opened it.

    Would anyone have a solution?

    Heres the things I have tried

    Hard Restarting the Console

    Hard Restarting the Console and trying to turn it on with batteries

    Moving all of the "magnetic interferences.

    Unplugging all power to the xbox including the power surge

    Tried Cortana... cant think of anything to do.

    Etc.

    Edit#1: I have finally found the solution. Reply if you need it.

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    Im actually still having this issue on my xbox elite. After a period in idle (usually 24hrs) my controller and xbox IR remote wont turn on the console. I have to turn it on at the console. Once turned on my remote and controller may work in menus and other
    times it wont at all. Only a powercycle fixes it. Any ideas?

    My xbox turns on but the thing is it wont connect to my tv or neither my controller, and when i try turning it off by the x button it wont turn off unless i disconnect it from the back or cord.

    Go ahead and perform a hard reset and
    power cycle     of your console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

    Power on and synch yopur controller and

    Let us know if that resolves your controller issue.

    hi, thanks for the help, i tried but the issue continues, only works with android cable... waht should i do with the controller? should i open it?
