    Xbox Controller Warranty


    Hello ,

    I have some issues with my Xbox One controller ( Purchased with my Xbox One on december 2014) with the right stick , It turns automatically to the left , and blocks me when i want to turn to the right.

    I did register my Xbox One on the warranty service and the Xbox is recongnized , the warranty expires the 21st January 2017.

    My question is : Is the warranty of the console and the controller the same ? Because when i go to the Replace section , they ask me the serial number of the controller , and say they can't find the product.

    What can i do for this ?

    Xbox One Warranty expired after 11 months?!

    Hello!

    The warranty on the Xbox system and the controller often have a different warranty length. In the US the Console has a 12 month warranty, but the controller has a 90 day warranty.

    I would definitely contact support directly to get the warranty issue resolved, since it should definitely still be under warranty. They would also be able to confirm the warranty on the controller itself.

    Extended Warranty - Elite Controller

    The normal warranty on the Elite Controller is 90 days. Is there an Extended Warranty for the Elite Controller, like there is of an Xbox One?

    Xbox Controller Warranty

    The warranty of the console doesn't covers the accessories. According to the xbox service the warranty for controllers is 3 months.

    Standard warranty for Xbox accessories is 90 days, or 3 months. Unfortunately, it seems like you are outside of warranty. you can however, check your controllers serial number here : Controller

    If you are out of warranty, we can only recommend replacing the controller.
