  1. Xbox Controller vibrates

So, this might be a dumb question, but I was wondering why my controller randomly vibrates now. I just bought a rechargeable battery pack for my Xbox One Controller since normal batteries drain so fast, but now it randomly vibrates with no meaning when I'm
playing a game. It just recently started doing it.

No, it's not because of the games I play, because it has never happened before.

    :)

XBox One Stream from Win10 - Vibrate stuck when connected to PC via Micro-USB

If controller vibrations are distracting or make it hard to use your controller, you can adjust their intensity or turn them off completely.

To change vibration, download the Xbox Accessories app from the Microsoft Store. Then, plug in your controller, open the app, and select
    Configure.

    • For an Xbox Elite Controller, select the configuration profile you want to change. Then select
Edit > Vibration and move the sliders to adjust vibration settings.
    • For the Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.

Xbox controller series s/x vibration not working

    Hi TomaXBOX2016!

Your Xbox Series X/S controller should still work normally on Xbox One console.

Make sure to change your vibration settings.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings.
Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.
If you have multiple controllers, choose the controller that you want to change and select Configure.
For an Elite Series 2 controller, select the configuration profile that you want to change, select Edit > Vibration, and then move the sliders to adjust the vibration.
For an Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn vibration on or off.

    Question about the controller

Wireless Controller doesn’t vibrate some or all of the time when playing a game

    • Make sure that the game you’re playing supports vibration. Not all games support vibration of game controllers.
    • If the game you’re playing does support vibration, make sure that vibration is enabled. For more information, see the user’s manual for that game.
    • Make sure that the battery pack or batteries in your wireless controller are fully charged. When the controller detects that the charge in the battery pack or batteries is low, it turns off vibration to conserve the remainder of the charge.
    • If you have another Xbox One Wireless Controller, try to reproduce vibration in the second controller. If the second controller reproduces the same issue, it’s likely that the game you’re using is having an issue. Consult the troubleshooting information
      for that game.
If the wireless controller still doesn’t vibrate after you’ve tried the above solutions, your controller needs to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the Xbox Online Service Center.
