Xbox Controller under warranty request for repair keep being closed.

Hi,

I have a design lab controller that I brought at Christmas, after a month the right stick would permanently drift, under warranty I sent to Xbox repair, all good they return with a fully working controller, 1 month later, same issues again, still under warranty,
I request a repair again, I receive a message due to COVID 19 they are delays, Xbox then close my request and ask if I was happy with there service! I replied with no, this was not resolved with no answer,I tried to contact and you cant for some reason? I
cant find no number to call, You can not request a call back for this issue, online chat is virtual only, which for this issue is useless. I wait a couple of months, I do the same process and I completed request
form with receipts & serial number attached, I receive an email saying Based on our records my controller exchange request is being processed on a different number and to avoid confusion we will close service ticket. I have no service ticket open, I have checked
on my account and emails.

How can I resolve this? or is this Xbox/Microsoft plan until warranty expires? this is unacceptable.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty distressing. I suggest if you are unable to get a call back, for you to try and reach out to the virtual agent instead. They
might be able to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

In such cases, you may want to request a replacement for your controller if it is still under warranty!

Apart from that, you can take it a local repair shop nearby, but that would void the warranty if it is still under it!

If the console is still under warranty then you can request a service repair through Xbox Support. If it is not under warranty you can still request a repair but at a cost.

The following link can help you fix your controller. If finish the wizard on the link, and it determines that you need a repair, check if you're under warranty using the serial number under the bar code in the battery pocket of the controller.

Hi,

This sounds like a fault with the controller and something that would need to be repaired.

If the controller is still under warranty Microsoft are always great at getting things repaired/replaced ( in my experience)
