Xbox Controller Suddenly Stops Working

When I first got my Xbox One, it came with a controller that worked fine. About two months ago, the controller began to show signs of aging, so I bought a new controller. After about 4 weeks of mild use, I turned it on to find that no input on the controller would be sent to the Xbox, other than powering on the Xbox. I attempted to pair it thinking it had disconnected with no luck, so I was forced to use my older controller which still worked. A few days later I ordered another controller which worked fine until today. I tried to turn it on and the same thing happened where it turned on the Xbox but wouldn't register any other input to allow me to sign in. I once again tried to reconnect it but like the previous time it still wouldn't work. I thought this might've been an issue with the console but my older controller still connects fine. Is there any way to get my new controller to work? Why is this happening?

I have not validated the version of firmware, but I know it suddenly stops working. To update it, I plug the controller in and update firmware. I do this for both controllers. Then it will work for a couple of weeks and suddenly stop.

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

Please check that your controller is updated through the "Xbox Accessories" app. This app is available on both the console and PC.

After updating, follow these steps to power cycle your console.

1. Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

2. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Xbox.

3. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press the Power button on your Xbox to turn it back on.

5. Pair your devices again.

After this test your controller and let me know if the problem persists.

I play on xbox series x the games that i mentioned works perfectly fine but suddenly at a certain point the controller stops working so im obliged to remove the battery from my controller and leave the game and i still can't find a solution
