Xbox Controller Suddenly Shutting Off

I have the same issue i think since the day i bought the One X on release date, sometimes i let the controller on the couch and do something else and most of the time like after 15 minutes it turn off , i do not use the xbox as a media player , i have an apple TV so i dunno about streaming apps like youtube , HBO etc .. but im a streamer on twitch and i play narrative games like Man Of Medan, House of Ashes and The Quarry who just got released, and on cinema mode in these type of games the player don't need to do any input, it's like a 5 to 10 hour movie, so i started to stream on twitch ( why only twitch btw ?? even on PS5 u can stream on youtube directly ?? ) and i got the issue , i red some threads here and there, and i removed the battery pack and plugged it on series X and removed the battery pack with a good quality usb C cable, it turned off too .. the only way for me to make it work was to turn on the official wireless headset and not wearing it , but the issue i got was the headset cannot be charge and on at the same time so my stream ended before the end cos i was sleeping just because the headset had no batteries left after 5 hours and the controller finally shuts down ... personally i'm a huge xbox advocate , i love sony exclusives but i hate their UI specially on PS5 , but even on their ugly PS5 UI we have the option to choose for the controller to automatically turn of between 10 min to like 2 hours or NEVER... why not add this option for games too ?? cos i noticed that on settings now you can disable the controller to turn off but only when playing videos , i tries the accessorry app , my controllers and headset are up to date and there is not google to choose on Series X...

will xbox do something ? cos for streaming games like this that are like a movie with no input .. it's a real issue.

I change this inside accessories app, could you try look the app and then go to configure screen to see if you're able to do it?

I have been using PeacockTV app, to watch the old sliders tv series, at night I have had my controller connected to my headphones when watch tv series, and during streaming of the tv series my controller also been going into sleep mode or disconnecting while I been watching shows, I have my console update to the June update, but I noticed this problem last month, I been having to watch tv without my headphones plug into the controller, it does seem to shut off or disconnect on me with my Xbox one x wireless controller, I haven't tried using my USB charging cable to fix it, I could not if this needs fixing it may be effecting more than just one or two people. not sure but I think it's only effect streaming of shows, or non games, I think if I use it with a game its going to stay connected, since I would be pressing buttons more, I think its related to some sort of controller having the batteries type sleep mode I think anyway, it could also be a bug. also I have had my tv sound off and just using the sound with the controller when watching steaming shows at night, sometimes, during the daytime its not a problem since I then just use my TV sound and if the controller disconnects or goes off, it doesn't effect me watching stuff. only when I want to use headphones with the Xbox controller. also towards the end of last month afterwards, I did check and update my controllers firmware from the Xbox one x console, so I hope that helps it, but I haven't really test tv streaming with the controller and headphones, so I don't know if this problem was fix or not yet from the updated controller, not sure if the person who posted this has there controller up to date or not software wise. also not sure if this is exactly the same problem but it sounds like it is. it would reconnect to the sliders video stream on PeacockTV when I press the controllers xbox logo button when it disconnects, but then I would have to back up the show a bit to hear what was missed when it did disconnect with the headphones since the sound also disconnects when the controller would, anyway it sort of sounds like the same problem I experienced last month, when watching old tv shows on my console.

I don't think you understand what I am saying. While I am in the middle of an online game, it suddenly just stuts off. I hear the sound when it turns on, and it shuts off. Ironically when I turn it on with the control it no longer makes any sound. You are trying to tell me it is perfectly normal for my system to shut off mid game in the 1st of 2nd game I play. That is not normal at all.... Thankyou for the reply

I've had the exact same issue... Whilst using the Xbox the console suddenly shut off and won't turn back on... There is also no LED on the power supply even after unplugging it and plugging it back in :/
