Xbox controller suddenly not working with some games on PC

Kindly follow the steps below to contact our live support team Contact us | Xbox Support Select the " See Contact Options" or "Request a Call" button

1. Select the following drop-down menu options in the following order:
   What are you having trouble with? - XXXXXXXX
   What's the issue? -XXXXXXXXX
   
2. The third box will ask you to describe your issue and then select the "Next" button.
   
3. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.
   
4. On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

I apologize, I just saw the response. I have already updated the controller as per the article that you linked, and I have attempted to install the Epic Games Launcher (which is what I use to play Fortnite). However, my Windows is now not recognizing my attempt to install either that computer or Epic Online Services. I was able to uninstall an unrelated application.

1. I don't understand how formatting a flash drive will fix an issue on my computer. The page references a fix for the xBox; I'm not playing on the xBox.

2. I reset the Microsoft Store app and every xBox app on my computer. It did not fix the issue.

3. I don't have anything called Windows PowerShell (Admin). I attempted the command in Windows PowerShell and received an access denied error.

4. Playing offline is useless to me as I play both Fortnite and Minecraft with friends.
