Xbox Controller still connected after turning off

Conntroller wireless - Pc Bluetooth adapter

Hello I'm experiencing a problem everytime I turn on my controller, it doesn't reconnet, in fact it is still connected bevor turning my controller on. I have to unconnect it every time to get it working. Is this normal? Have you any idea what could cause this problem? The only thing I think it might be is the bluetooth adapter/ stick.

This is a known issue, it has been happening to me since i got the new xbox. Microsoft either is ignoring it or they are having trouble patching it and fixing the problem.

Only advice i can give you is that before you turn off your xbox for the day (or if you see the batteries getting low) save your game, quit out of it and restart it to make sure it saved. Then you can turn your xbox off and remove the batteries/battery pack and either charge it or replace it. When you get the xbox to repair with the controller you'll find your game nice and saved

trust me it sucks when this happens and you havnt saved, have to hard reboot the console to make it connect to controllers again and you lose all progress.

Also after that connect your controller with cable. And then try to turn off the console with the controller. And then turn it on.

The Xbox One controller will auto turn off after a period of inactivity and I don't think it is possible to deactivate this feature. The only way to stop the controller from turning off is to either perform an action on the controller or to connect it to
the console with a USB cable.

I removed the HDD, turned it on and still had no connection to the TV. My HMDI sensor could not find a connection. I placed the HDD back inside and still the same issue. Thinking it had to do something with the video settings needing to be reset, I tried
to use the video/audio reset method.

Now, I don't seem like I can get the controller to connect with the Xbox as it continues to blink even after multiple attempts to Sync. I found a help-video on Youtube stating to turn off the TV before turning the Xbox on and went 1 step further and turned
off WiFi in the home, turned cell phone off to no avail...

There are times where I had the blue (working fine) light on my xbox for over an hour but no screen connection and the controller lights blinking. Then, when I would start turning off and turning it on I would go back to getting the single red light after
a few moments.

Again, this seemed to start after I updated my Xbox last week. I do remember it turning back on after the update was downloaded, seeing the first miliseconds of the Xbox Logo on screen then going blank or losing the connection as if the video/ audio were
reset on its own.
