Xbox controller stick drift

Discus and support Xbox controller stick drift in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Anyone know how fix thumb stick drift left stick drifts forward and back I’ve unscrewed the controller taken the thumbsticks off the controller swapped...     Xbox controller stick drift


    Anyone know how fix thumb stick drift left stick drifts forward and back I’ve unscrewed the controller taken the thumbsticks off the controller swapped them left for right right stick still fine I’m using one off those controllers with a screenshot button

    That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
    app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.
    Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.

    Unfortunately stick drift is something that happens to almost every controller with analogue sticks after some time. I feel like the fact that a lot of games require you to click in the sticks for in-game actions has resulted in stick drift becoming more
    common more quickly in these last two generations of consoles. I've had to replace a few controllers on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One because of stick drift. As Dazza said, you can fix the controllers, but that requires taking them apart and doing some soldering.
    Quickest and simplest solution is getting another controller, which really sucks because they're not cheap.

    Xbox One Controller, left stick faulting!!!

    I have two controllers BOTH with drift issues. The one left thumb-stick drifts upwards and the other one has a right thumb-stick drift issue that drifts upward.

    Like what the heck am I suppose to do. #SMH
