Xbox controller shuts down despite media use

I recently did a factor reset to my Xbox One in order to solve an issue with app installation. Since then, both my Xbox wireless controllers - one new, one old - turn off after about 15 minutes despite having a headset plugged in and media (AmazonPrime,
Hulu, etc.) playing.

I have never had this problem before and have previously been able to watch programming for extended periods of time in this way, namely while using the controller with a headset for audio. Both controllers have up to date firmware and I have tried mixing
and matching between both the controllers and controller power supplies (batteries and rechargeable battery connected to the Xbox via cord). I have also done standard and full reboot power cycles on the console.

How can I get my controllers back to not shutting down while I am using them for media? I am concerned this may also occur during gameplay, but have not yet tested it. Thanks!

I have already tried all the options associated with the first google result related to a Url containing the string you cited. No luck.

The controller will shut itself down to save power if not used, usually shuts down within 10 minutes. To avoid this, press any button on the controller.

Despite the fact that it was designed to last for 10 years, even on the entire time, it's always a good idea to shut down your entertainment devices when not in use, and the Xbox One is no exception.

Like I previously posted I have shut down all firewall software and also I'm not using Media Center to stream my movies.... I am working through media player 11.
