Hi there! It might be worth trying some basic troubleshooting steps to determine if the fault lies with the batteries or the controller. Have you tried different batteries in the controller before? If so, did this rectify the issue? Were the other batteries
you tried rechargeable? If using different batteries in the controller solved the issue, then there may be something wrong with the batteries. Remember, you cannot charge the batteries while they are in the controller! If using different batteries did not
help to rectify your issue, you can start a service order to get your controller looked at by an Xbox Service Agent. To do this, do the following:

Go to accounts.microsoft.com/devices/

>Find and click on your Xbox console

>Scroll down to Service and select Start Order

>Select Accessory, then Wireless Controller and follow the steps to proceed with your Service Request.

Here is the info on getting the elite Controller serviced.

here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices
under your console. Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Elite Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.
