Xbox Controller Serial Number Not Found

So, my controller had some minor issues when I first bought it, and I didn't think much of it. Then, for awhile I didn't use it (maybe a month) and the issues got exponentially worse. The box was accidentally thrown away, and Microsoft said I could look
up my controller's serial number so I could send a request to get a new controller (I've had it for 74 days so it is still covered under warranty). I look up the serial number, and it doesn't work, no matter what I try. I know it's the 14 digit code under
the barcode in the battery part of the controller, and I checked to make sure the number was right 14 times, and it keeps saying serial number not found. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

Edit: Okay, to anyone having this problem:

So, I found out what you had to do was click the green text below the "serial number not found" thing, and you have to open it in a different browser, not chrome, because chrome blocks it (at least for me)

Hello in order to send the control through repair you have to go through the Xbox support page and repair. You need to make sure you have the controllers serial number on the site. The serial number is found behind the batteries on the controller. Once
the serial number is entered it will let you know if the controller is still under warranty. That way you will be able to send it through repair if possible.

My major problem is that when I go on the Xbox Controller Remplacement page that NaZoooom linked and put in the serial number on the controller, I have a message telling me the serial number is not found.

Because of this, I am not sure what I can do to have me controller replaced.

Unfortunately, living in France, I don't have a Microsoft store near my home.

Hello I found this post as I am also having the same issue, I am looking at the serial number on the back of my official Xbox Elite Series 2 controller and trying to enter it when registering a new device. I have a broken joystick and am trying to look up the warranty or initial repairs but I am getting a "We couldn't verify the serial number. Check the serial number and try again." error message but I am definitely entering the serial number in correctly. So confused on what to do and still need help with repairs on my controller.

Hello, was it an official Xbox controller? IF so if still under warranty it would be repaired through Xbox's warranty by registering the serial number found behind the batteries. If not then you would have to know what that controllers repair policy is.
