Xbox controller right stick Y rotation drift, looking for fix!

Having this issue since yesterday and i do not know if it is a controller hardware problem, or a problem from Microsoft themselves with their windows update and or any other program that may have affected it. The issue more specified, when i release
the left analog stick the Y rotates up and does this slowly, not a instant to a lock up position and does it every time identically no matter how many times i do it, this happens while the stick remains in its default position that being the middle.

Solved it myself, turns out its a hardware issue and the resistance wheel that shows witch degree it were supposed to show was dirty and made lesser contact with the pointer that spins when you move your joystick, and I had to readjust the pointer to its right
place and clean the resistance wheel in order for it to stop drifting. Now that its fixed it looks more like this.

It could be stick drift, which there is no fix for, unfortunately. Your only option is to get it repaired or purchase a new one.

If your controller is still in warranty (Standard controller 90 days, Elite 1 year, Design Lab 120 days), then you can contact support and book it in for repair.

If the controller is out of warranty, then Microsoft do not fix them and your only option is to get a replacement.

Problem solved, go to your xbox settings to the xbox accssories, press on edit controller, press on the r buttom, which is the rotate buttom, then press on invert right stick y axis, and you're good to go, don't forget presisng B on the controller to save

I would also like to add that the X rotation is slightly to the right (only a smidge) and the Y rotation is 20% - 80% of the movement potential on the stick. It also only ever happens when the stick is centered.
