Xbox controller right joystick x axis not working- Firmware currupt

Microsoft needs to have a way to manually update/force a firmware installation on a controller. The controller was working fine then I paused the game controller auto turned off and when I came back and turned it back on the right joystick was stuck drifting
to the right. The joystick is physically fine no mechanical damage. I connected it to my laptop and tried to calibrate and its able to read/sense all the other axis except for the x rotational axis. I called Microsoft to see if they had any options but like
always they didn't know anything. How can I reinstall or reset the firmware on my controller? I tried the update on the console and the accessories app and they all say it's up to date. I'm guessing Developers have yet to think that maybe cases like this happen
and that if someone needs to have the firmware updated the process should overwrite the firmware even if its the same version. Since from the looks of it, there thinking is if the firmware matches the current it does not rewrite it and marks the process as
successfully complete. In reality, the firmware is up to date they sure have a process where it checks the firmware for any change in the code. This would fix lots of firmware issues.

XBox Adaptive Controllor with Logitech 3D Pro Joystick setup

I am interested in buying the Adaptive Controller along with the Logitech 3D Pro Joystick, which is listed as a compatible accessory, for my XBox. However, I have read conflicting information about the Joystick's compatibility. Mainly, I would like to
know if all of the Joystick controls (X axis, Y axis, and rotation of Z axis) are all mappable? Also, are all of the Joystick's buttons with the Adaptive Controller?

I have read that not all of the buttons on the Joystick will translate or not be useable with the Adaptive Controller. Is this true and if so to what extent?

I have also read that there is a difference in how the Joystick behaves based on if you plug the USB into the Left or Right port of the Adaptive Controller--if this is true, what differences are there?

I want to make sure I know all the ins and outs of this hardware before buying. I'm surprised XBox doesn't have more comprehensive information about what to expect or how these components work with each other. They just say that the Joystick is compatible
while the feedback I've read from community members on various forums say there are limitations to what actually works and what does not. Any clarification on this matter would be most useful. Thanks very much!

Please add an option to invert the X axis on the Xbox One controller.

Why aren't we able to invert the X axis on the Xbox One controller? We can invert the Y axis, but not the X axis. If this was added in a update patch, that would be awesome.

Hi Longarm,

I had to remap the control keys, and now rudder pedals are ok.

Steps:

Create a new profile for rudder pedals on Controls menù on Pro Flight CESSNA Rudder Pedals section.

Brakes

Left/right brake - Joystick L-Axis X /Joystick L-Axis Y

Flight Control Surfaces - Primary Control Surfaces

Rudder Axis - Left/Right - Joystick R-Axis Z

Now I missed switch panel / Radio Panel / Instrument panel, but I'm working on that.

Very helpful, thanks. I should have checked my settings properly. But the french confused me.

The important parts are the following (you only need to set the axe settings to fly):

Flight control surfaces > Primary control surfaces

- Ailerons Axis: Joystick L-Axis X (Querruderachse)

- Elevator Axis: Joystick L-Axis Y (Höhenruderachse)

- Rudder Axis: Joystick L-Axis Z (Seitenruderachse)

Power Managent > Throttle (Energieverwaltung > Gashebel)

- Throttle Axis: Joystick thrust control X (Gashebelachse)

Also set the buttons of the Joystick where you prefer it.

So I took your advice and yes, it works. Press the Sensitivity button first and essentially calibrate X, Y and throttle. Then use the "All" tab under "Filter". You then need to select "Ailerons Axis" with input Joystick Axis X from the drop down list, Elevator
Axis to your Joystick Y Axis, and Throttle 1 Axis as Joystick Axis Z.

If you said all I could do is swap the left x axis with the right x-axis that doesn't no good except switching hands.

I need the ability to invert the x-axis so that right becomes left and left becomes right for both the camera controls for Super Mario 64 like camera control and for making a right-handed fight stick left handed by rotating the physical fight stick 180 degrees, and flipping the left x axis and flipping the left y axis for both of those purposes.

You could remap the left x axis to the right x-axis but you can't flip either axis there's a big difference between remapping axes and flipping axes

Neither your application app for the standard controller nor the Adaptive controller will let you flip the axes. You could flip the y-axis for like flight games but you never thought of flipping the x-axis for Super Mario 64 and for right-handing a fight stick.

I know if the digital inputs are used you could simply map up to be down down to be up as well as right to be left and left to be right on the d-pad and you got a perfectly inverted joystick but some games like ones that use digital movement can't do that easily.
