Xbox Controller Replacement

Hey there! In December I had purchased a new Xbox one controller, which worked fine until around February, where I was having issues with one of the bumpers, where it would only work if pressed on a specific spot and really hard. I put in a new controller request (the service request number is 1518841321), and received an email a couple of days later saying they couldn't replace my exact controller, but if I agreed they would send me a random specialty controller that wouldn't have a warranty as long as I emailed back confirming the order within the calendar week. I did so, confirming the order, but it has been about a month now and I haven't received any word from the controller, not even a confirmation of shipping email. I tried getting in contact with a Microsoft personal on the phone but it says they don't receive calls for these issues. Is there any way I can check on my service request or at least confirm that the order went through and that I will for sure be receiving the controller, or is there a step in the process that I didn't do, like send my broken controller back to them that would prevent them from sending me the controller? The reason for asking what issues were being experienced when attempting to connect it directly to a device is to confirm if it is indeed the controller that is at fault for this process not working.

If you've determined that the controller is at fault, a suggested replacing of the controller is in order.

Thank you for the update. It is possible that this may be a hardware issue with the device. Based on the controller's warranty status or eligibility, you may be able to request an Xbox controller replacement. If you are not able to request a replacement, then I recommend verifying whether or not you can return the device to the retailer that you purchased the controller from.
