    Xbox Controller problem?


    Hello,

    I have been having problems with talking with some of my friends with my skullcandy headphones(with the wire that has the mic with it) And it's been not letting me speak with them but only to hear them through the headphones. I have tried updating The controller
    but it just Says:"Please make sure Usb cable is firmly plugged in". Please help it's been happening for 2 weeks now and there's nothing wrong with my headphones.

    If this is only happening with some friends, the issue may be on your NAT type. If you head over to Network settings and check under detailed network statistics, what does your NAT type show as? If you have anything other than an open NAT, please take a chance
    to run through this

    Xbox headset not playing game or party audio but I can still hear myself when I monitor my mic.

    Sounds like a headset or a xbox controller problem ... do u have another controller to try the headset in to see if its the controller that is the problem? Or do u have another headset to plug into the controller to see if the other headset is the problem?

    And no problems.

    Bought an Xbox 360 controller mostly every year because of thumbsticks deadzone problems.

    So for me,the choice is easy.

    I have an Xbox 1 s and a wired headset but my controller is a series s controller. I have tried with a different controller which is an Xbox 1 controller and it fixed the problem. However that isn’t my controller so I still have the same problem.
