Xbox Controller not working in games but does on dashboard

So I have logged in this afternoon to find that my RT button doesn't work when I try and play any kind of game however it works just fine on the dashboard and on apps. I've tried all the usual trouble shooting tips.

Note: it was working just fine last night

Anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Did he change the in game control configuration, or did he go into the Xbox Accessories app?

when you say "the handkontrolls doesn't work" do you mean the controller is not working at all, or, for example does pressing the 'A' button does not have the intended in game action?

Does the controller work normally on the dashboard and in the guide and other games?

Reset the console, don't the controller. See if it fixes, if not - do a hard reset.

Hello Inheritor,

Does another controller work fine on the same console? If you have done all troubleshooting thus far, it may be that the controller became faulty. If it is in warranty (90 days from purchase) can get repaired/replaced.

Unfortunately it didn't fix it the issue I think maybe the connection is too weak to work properly
