Xbox controller not recognized as controller

    Xbox controller not recognized as controller


    Ever since the latest windows 11 update, my xbox controller is not recognized as a controller, and when I play games, the controller uses pc controls. For example when I play Snowrunner, I use my controller and it rapidly switches back and forth from pc to controller controls. When I went into my device manager, there is no Xbox peripherals option, now my controller will only connect via Bluetooth, and still has the same problem.

    Have you tried syncing the controller to another Xbox One console? In doing this test you can see whether or not the problem lies in your console no longer recognizing your controller or your controller not recognizing your console. If its the latter, then
    I'm afraid you might need to buy a new controller.

    The console recognizes the controller fine. It's the PC I'm having the issues with.
